The 5 keys to Raising a Healthy Child..
Key #1- Have your children Eat a Healthy Breakfast. Like Oatmeal or Eggs.
Having Breakfast will help them stabilized there blood sugar and help them think more clearly in school.
Key #2- Pack healthy lunches for them. Make sure you pack some veggies like cut up peppers or carrots. Pack a fruit like blueberries or grapes. I also like to add a healthy sandwich. Using a nitrate free meat like Boars head turkey meat. Try using a whole grain or sprouted grain bread to give them some extra fiber.
Key #3- Get some fresh air. Kids that get fresh air and play outside are more likely to get better grades and are happier than those that don’t get outside.
Key #4- Take a Whole Food Multi Vitamin and fish oil. No matter how good they eat they always could use some added Nutrients to help there bodies and brains grow.
Key #5- Add Good Fats to there Diets- Your brain is made up of 80% fat so when there brains are growing it is importatant to give the brain all the help it needs. Add in healthy fats like olive oil, avocados, butter and fish oils. A great way to get kids to gets some healthy fats in is add 1 tsp to a smoothie. It will feed their brain and make the smoothie creamier.
