Crunches don’t always equal flat stomach’s
You can’t do crunches and expect to see abs if they’re trapped under a layer of fat.
You can crunch till the cows come home and you still won’t see those beautiful abs of yours until you get your body fat lower.
Taking off the last problem pounds of fat off requires discipline. You’re fighting your body’s natural chemistry. Your body wants to keep on an extra 10-15 pounds and losing the last 10 pounds isn’t always about getting healthy in the same way losing 30 or 40 is.
Our clients that work with us doing personal training, our fitness boot camps or our nutrition counseling all want to be healthier, but…
Sometimes, it’s about vanity, and for vanity, you have to make sacrifices. Your body doesn’t want to shed that weight just because you are a narcissist and want to wear size two jeans.
You have to trick your body into thinking it’s a safe weight, and that means plowing through the program without giving your body the chance to rebound back to its old weight.
If you can read your Oprah magazine on the treadmill, you aren’t working hard enough.”
Our goal at the Body Project is always to improve everyone’s health first and a by-product of that is to look better. Our personal training and weight loss programs peel back the layers as far as we need to in order to produce results for our clients. The reality is some people just have to work harder to reach the same goals.
For instance you my have problems with your digestion, a food allergy, a cesarean or an episiotomy scar that is disrupting your nervous system. In order to get that flat stomach you want so badly, you have to clear these interference fields to really get the results your looking for. This is one of the many things that separates our personal training studio in Eagan from others.
And remember you can’t out exercise a bad diet! Don’t know how to eat right for your chemistry, call us today and we can steer you in the right direction. At the Body Project we offer Personal Training, Fitness Boot camps and weight loss programs as well as doing seminars on nutrition and fitness.
